On Saturday December 17, 2011 over 40 CBLC students wrote the final exam on the Cape Breton University campus. If they are successful in passing the exam they will finally achive their goals of studying at a Canadian university. The exam tests students on their skills in the following areas of study: listening, speaking, reading, writing and grammar. The purpose of this exam is to ensure that the students who graduate from CBLC have professional knowledge and have learned the proper English skills to guarantee a bright future at CBU. This will ensure that they can have a smooth and successful transition into CBU.
As everybody knows, English is the base language for study in Canadian universities, so CBLC tests our students to ensure they are well-prepared for student life at CBU.
Everyone at CBLC wishes all of the students the best of luck at the exam and that the students will be successful in their future studies.
