Ski is a recreational activity and competitive sport in which the participant attaches skis to boots or shoes on the feet and uses them to travel on top of snow. Aside from recreation and competition, skiing has been used for military purposes and travelling in areas that experience heavy snowfall.
On Saturday, January 25th, CBLC Student Services Department held a successful Ski activity at Ski Ben Eoin, Cape Breton Island. The activity involved over 50 International Students. Although this was the first time many students skied in Canada, they enjoyed the ski very much making new friends along the way. The students enjoyed fierce competition resulting in all having increased interest and ability for ski.
