Dragon Boat Festival in Cape Breton

On Sunday, July 24th the ICEAP NS team "The School Of Hard Knockers" joined in the Cape Breton Dragon Boat Festival in Sydney Harbour next to The Big Fiddle. We were among the 26 teams that raised over $26,000.00 for the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation. This is the first year CBLC participated as a team in this community event, and we did a pretty good showing for our first time out. There were more than 50 people representing CBLC including family, friends and students. The organizers of the Dragon Boat Festival welcomed CBLC with open arms and we're happy to be part of their community.
